Mandla has twelve years working experience in the renewable energy and energy efficiency service industry. His competencies include business & strategy research and development, project management, renewable energy and energy efficiency system design & installation, analytical problem solving and renewable energy and energy efficiency feasibility assessments. Mandla’s extensive research and report writing experience.
Mandla’s extensive project management experience include energy audits, energy efficiency feasibility assessments and retrofit installations, alternative building technology (ABT) production and construction, REEE (Renewable Energy & Energy Efficiency) strategy developments and terminal evaluation reports for key clients in the renewable energy sector in South Africa such as the National Energy Regulator of South Africa (NERSA), Department of Energy (DOE), South African National Energy Development Institute (SANEDI), South African Cities Network (SACN), United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), United Nations Industrial Development Organisation (UNIDO) and the World Bank. Mandla has co-authored published papers for journals including the International Journal Energy.
He holds B.A. in Business Administration from Howard University and a BPhil Honours from Stellenbosch University.
